A New Life in France

Torn, we are, between wishing you both
A great new life abroad
And wishing you still weren’t going
But, your adventure we must applaud

We hope you will remember
‘tis not just you, to France, you take
But also our deepest loving
Although our hearts do ache

And lest we forget our Grandkids
Little Charlie, Hannah and Jack
We’ll miss you all so terribly
Though we know you’ll be often back

Although you won’t forget us
As you head to foreign shores
We hope you make the most of it
And enjoy the French outdoors

You and Jamie may find it timely
Your friends may find it sad
The kids may be excited
But me and Dad are truly glad

Glad you seek a better life
Glad you took the leap
We know you’re far away now
And very safe, we hope you’ll keep

Secret Valentine

A cheeky little message
To brighten up your day
A touch of tongue (and of cheek)
To send you on your way

....Who am I? you’ll wonder
As many I’m sure there are –
Admirers of that lovely face
Whom you push to keep afar

....But a brave man - that I am dear
And not just pushed away
But first you’ll have to guess my name
So that we might meet one day

But enough for now, I’ll end this
And think of your bod. divine

You Can Take the Girl Outta BTI but....

Years and years have passed, whilst here at BTI
But now the time has come for me, to give a parting “bye”
Some may see it timely, some may find it sad
Some might be indifferent, but for me I’m truly glad;

A break like this for me, doesn't often come around,
Some folks, I will be sad to leave. At others, I have just frowned
But this I have to say though, now my time is at an end:
I’ve really loved my time here and, have made more than one friend

So help celebrate my promotion, I really would be thrilled
If you could come and join me for - a nice cool glass of chilled…
Wine or beer or orange juice, or whatever takes your mood.
Just one last time for us to get, totally and utterly stewed!!!

A Proposal....

All my life I’ve searched for you
Now my search is at an end
